Standing at the cross section of people and innovation, Lillian has amassed more than 7 years of experience in the human resource industry in Tanzania and has had the privilege of working various projects that link technology with development. She is a co-founder and Managing Director of Ekihya, a consulting company that works hand in hand with businesses in building processes and systems to result in greater efficiency in their operation. In 2016, she co founded an innovation and technology platform called Bits & Bytes where they work hand in hand with corporates in finding community solutions around different areas such as urban planning to agriculture, through organised Hackathons, Business Pitch Competitions and key panel discussions, which is now 3 years in operation having touched over a 1,000 individuals and partnered with institutions such as East Africa Institute of the Aga Khan University, CBA, AB-InBev and so forth. As of recent she has launched an online employability platform called Niajiri Platform that already boasts 3000 registered Tanzanian users who get access to employability skills.
